4.3 kV and mA Control
From the Scan Settings window, click kV and mA Control to open the kV and mA Control
collection.
Settings include: kV Mode , kV , mA Mode and Noise Index .

4.3.1 kV Mode
From the kV and mA Control collection, select kV Mode and/or kV .
4.3.1.1 Manual kV Mode
When Manual kV Mode is selected, you can enter a kVp value for each prescribed scan group.
When building protocols, make sure that a reasonable and appropriate kVp level is selected for
the Manual kV selection even if the protocol is designed to employ kV Assist. This is done to
ensure that a reasonable kVp setting is used for the diagnostic scan in the event that kV Assist
is disabled.
