Users: root, ctuser, insite
Permanent: If a group is permanent, it can never be removed. When a permanent group
is in context, [Remove Group] is disabled.
Content Not Editable: If a group is identified as such, its group memberships cannot be
added or deleted. When a “content not editable” group is in context, users cannot be
removed or added from the group, and the group name does not display when you click
[Remove From Group] or [Add to Group].
Password Not Changeable: If a group is identified as such, the roles associated with that
group cannot be changed. This property does not have a direct impact on what you can
do on the
Local Users
tab.
NOTE: “In context” is a HIPAA term indicating that all selections and buttons in the center
panel apply to the selected user or group.
2.8 Add an enterprise group
Use this procedure to add an enterprise group.
1.
Section 2.4, Open EA3.

From the
Groups
tab, click [Add Enterprise Group].
3. From the
Add Enterprise Group
window, type a unique
Group Name
.
If an error occurs a message displays, and the changes are not applied in the database.
Correct the errors and try again.
Common errors include:
Group Name
already exists in the database. Try another
Group Name
.
Application session timed out. Begin another session.

4. Click [Add Group].
This action does not add an enterprise group, rather it provides EA3 the ability to
manage roles for that group that already exists on the enterprise directory server. For
example, if you add a group All Employees as an enterprise group to EA3, and
