2.7 Edit a protocol
Use this procedure to change the established user protocols on the system.
NOTE:
GE Reference protocols are read-only and cannot be edited.
1.
From the image monitor, click .
2. Click
Protocol Management , then click Protocol Management again.
3.
From the
CT Login authentication window, enter your Log On Name and Password.
4.
From the
Protocol Selection window, select the protocol category from the drop-down menu.

There is space for 90 protocols in each adult anatomical area.
○
If you wish to edit pediatric protocols, click
Pediatric .
○
For color coded pediatric anatomical areas, there is space for 90 protocols in each of the
different weight classifications.
NOTE: Head
, Orbit , and Miscellaneous are not color coded.
5. Select an anatomical body part.
6. Scroll through the protocol list to find the desired protocol, or use the search bar.
7. Select a protocol you wish to edit.
8. Click [Edit] if you are making changes to an existing protocol.
9. From the Scan Settings window, modify the protocol parameters as needed.
10. Click [Changes Complete], then [Save].
11. To save the edited parameters as a new protocol, click [Save As] to open the Protocol Save
window.
