Inj. Delay (s)
Injection delay can be set in increments of seconds.
0 no delay prior to the injection of this phase.
1 to max — injection delay of the injector in sec‐
onds prior to the start of this phase. This is a timed
pause.
Hold — the injection for this phase is started from
the injector by pressing the start button. This is on‐
ly valid for phases two through five.
Type
Select the type of injection: Saline, Contrast or Contrast-
Saline.
Selecting Contrast-Saline opens the Ratio fields.
Ratio (%)
Available only when
Contrast-Saline
is selected in
Type
.
The upper frame is for contrast, the lower frame if for
Saline. The range is 5:95 and 95:5.
When mixed phase is set from CT user interface, the in‐
dication of ratio on
Injector Monitor
is dismissed. If you
want to set the ratio on Injector Monitor, those buttons
are displayed.
Pressure Limit
The pressure limit value sets the limit at which when
reached will stop the injection.
Contrast
Saline
The system displays the remaining volume of contrast
media and saline.
Get Injector Parame‐
ters
Selecting [Get Injector Parameters] retrieves the values
currently set on the injector and displays them in the In‐
jector Settings popover. Click [Apply] to choose these
values or click [Cancel] to return to the original values.
Add Phase Adds a phase.
Delete Phase Deletes a phase.
Apply
Clicking [Apply] when the injector is armed, disarms the
injector, but the parameters will NOT be updated on the
injector. Open the popover again and click [Apply] to up‐
date the parameters.
Cancel
Parameter values are not updated and remain at the
values present when the pop up window is opened.
NOTE: There is no Xtream Injector button for Scout scans.
