Typical SmartPrep parameters for cardiac scans:

○
Monitoring Delay = 10.0 seconds
○
Monitoring Inter-Scan Delay (ISD) = 1.7 seconds produces an image every 2.0 seconds
○
Enhancement Threshold = 150
○
Diagnostic Delay = Auto Minimum or desired delay time
13. Arm the injector.
14. Click [Confirm Settings].
15. Give the patient the same breathing instructions as the previous series. See Section 1.3 for
more details.
16. Press Move to Scan.
17. Start the injector.

If using the Integrated Injector option: The injector is started automatically when Start
Scan is pressed.
○
If not using the Integrated Injector option: Simultaneously press Start the Injector and
Start Scan.
