Configuration

1. Enter the 4-digit PIN and confirm. The PIN is assigned to you by your
mobile communication provider.
2. Select the memory location of the phonebook:
• „SIM“ for saving the phonebook on the SIM card or
• „internal“ for saving the phonebook in the corpuls

When the aircraft mode is enabled, the GSM function is disabled
Certain types of SIM card require the storage of the phonebook in the internal
memory of the corpuls

. Using the phonebook on the SIM card is not always
supported. To find out if your SIM card can store the phonebook, please contact
your mobile communications provider for further information.
The maximum length of the PIN is four digits.
If a wrong PIN has been entered and transmission has been attempted three
times in a row, the SIM card will be locked. Fax transmission is then no longer
possible. In that case, the SIM card can only be unlocked by inserting it into an
external mobile phone and entering the PUK there.
Using a double SIM card (depending on your mobile communications provider
also called twin SIM card, dual SIM or multi SIM card), is only possible if other
user devices with the pertaining SIM cards are off. So it is not possible to
operate several SIM cards of one mobile communications contract at the same
time. The operator of the device has to make sure beforehand that the
operation of the SIM card used in the corpuls

cannot be interrupted.
In the group „GPRS“ the following fields can be configured for data
transmission:
1. Enter the APN (Access point name) and confirm.
The respective valid APN is assigned by your mobile communication provider.
2. For the log-in to the data net via GPRS, enter the user (user name) and
confirm.
3. Enter password and confirm.
The log-in with user name for access to the data service is only designated for a
few mobile communication networks (for information please contact your mobile
communication provider).
In the group „Fax“ the following fields can be configured for the D-ECG and the
connection to the fax server :
1. Select the speed for the D-ECG transmission (25 mm/s or 50 mm/s) and
confirm. The standard user can change the speed setting during the
mission.
