Procedure in case of malfunctions

Alarm message Priority Explanation/Measure
(PACER)
High priority The pacer is stimulating in DEMAND mode, but
there is no 4-pole ECG cable connected or individual
ECG electrodes are loose.
Check if the 4-pole ECG cable is connected correctly
to the patient box.
Check ECG electrodes.
Make sure that all clips are correctly connected to
the contacts and/or the ECG electrodes are perfectly
placed on the patient’s skin.

Low priority The PIN belonging to the SIM card has not been
configured.
Configure the PIN.
No adh. Oxi sen. (P-
Box)
Medium priority The adhesive sensor is defective or has expired.
The sensor LED's have to be aligned directly over
each other at the measuring site.
Medium priority The sensor cable is not connected or not connected
correctly.
Disconnect sensor cable and connect again.
If the sensor LED does not flash, the sensor has to
be exchanged.
Low priority The SIM card is missing.
The SIM card is not correctly inserted in the drawer
of the monitoring unit.
Insert the SIM card in the drawer in the monitoring
unit.
PURPOSE

Box)
High priority The software of the module has been released only
for test purposes. Using this module on a patient is
prohibited.

Adh. Oxi sen. exp. (P-
Box)
Medium priority The adhesive sensor is defective or has expired.
The sensor LED's have to be aligned directly over
each other at the measuring site.
Oxi cable exp. (P-Box)
Medium priority The intermediate cable is expired and has to be
exchanged with a new one.
Oxi cable loose Medium priority The cable indicated is not connected to the patient
box.
Check the respective cable and reconnect if
necessary.

Medium priority „X“ stands for a failure number from 1 to 10.
The measuring option mentioned is faulty.
