Renaming a Host
Renames a host.
host_rename host=HostName new_name=Name
Parameters:
Name Type Description Mandatory
host Object name The original host name. Y
new_name Object name The new host name.
The new host name
must be unique in the
system.

This command renames a host. The new name of the host must be unique in the
system.
The command still succeeds even if the new name is identical to the current name.
Example:
host_rename host=server2 new_name=mailserver
Output:
Command completed successfully
