11.1 Adjustments Before Starting Work

Before starting work, complete or check the following settings:
• Tighten the floor conveyor of the bale chamber (Comprima V150/V180(XC)) (refer to
chapter “Before Baling / After Baling")
• Working height of the Pick-up
• Position of the roller crop guide
• Switching the cutting system on or off
• Cutting length of the cutting system
• Use of the bale ejector
• Preselect the baling pressure (Comprima F125/F155(XC))
• Preselect the bale size (Comprima V150/V180(XC))
• Preselect twine or net tying
• Use additional tappet strips
• Insert twine or net
• Function of the chain lubrication system
• Reset the bale counter
• Adjust the bale length (Comprima F155(XC))
The required working steps are described in the chapters “Settings” and “Operation”.
The baling pres sure may need to be reduced .
