• Before inserting the film, check the film roll for damage.
If the film roll is damaged:
• Unwind the damaged film section and cut it off.
• Cut off the bulges at the side of the film roll.

• Raise the lever (4).
• Swing the roll holder (6) and brake disc (1) forward.
• Detach the brake disc (1).
• Take a new net or film roll from the package. Make sure that the beginning of the roll faces
towards the machine and can be pulled out from above.
• Place the net or film roll (9) on the roll holder (6) and push the holder (7) on.
• Slide the brake disc (1) and cardboard tube clamp (2) anticlockwise into the cardboard
tube (10) of the film or net roll (9) as far as it will go.
The net or film roll (9) is permanently locked in the roll holder (6).
• Swing the roll holder (6) back into the machine and raise it into the lock by means of the
lever (4).
• Actuate the wrapping material brake lever (3) so that the roll holder (6) snaps home at the
wrapping material brake.
• When swinging the roll holder back, ensure that the clamping lever 5) is under the net or
film roll (9).
• Check that the net or film roll (9) is aligned centrally. To do so, measure the distance
dimensions to the left and right side walls.
