The area of the groove (1) where the blades (2) on the blade retaining shaft (3) are located in
wears during use.
The blade retaining shaft (3) is located in the position I in the factory. If the area around the
groove (1) is worn in position I by 1 mm, the blade retaining shaft can be moved once into
position II. The blade retaining shaft must not be replaced until the groove is also worn by 1 mm
in position II.

Prerequisite:
– The blades are dismounted (refer to chapter Maintenance “Changing the Blades”).
• Expel the roll pin (1) on both machine sides.
• Move blade retaining shaft (2) by 8 mm.
• Drive roll pin (1) into the opening (3) on both machine sides.
