The magnetic transmission must be re-adjusted if:
• the slides of the twine tying no longer stop during the start and end phase of tying, but
continue to move or
• the slides do not move after the start phase

To ensure correcting functioning of the magnetic transmission, use the shim rings (2) to set the
dimension of the gap (1) to 0.2 mm (+0.15/-0.05):
1. Remove the plastic disc (3) and measure the gap (1)
2. If the dimension deviates, disassemble the carrier (4) of the plastic disc by removing the
retaining ring (5) and taking off the carrier (4)
3. Use the shim rings (2) to set the dimension of the gap (1) to 0.2 mm (+0.15/-0.05)
4. Re-assemble the disassembled parts in reverse order
