After the machine has been idle for long periods of time, the linings of the friction clutch (2) may
adhere to friction surfaces.
Vent the overload clutch before use.
• Loosen the eight screws (1) to release the spring pressure from the outside washers (3, 4).
• Manually turn the universal shaft around once.
• Tighten the screws until the cover ring (2) is positioned directly on the outside washers (3, 4).
Note
Do not tighten the screws (1) too tight. The friction clutch must still be able to slip.
• Undo the screws (1) by one sixth of a turn.
