Risk of injury from improperly mounted blades
Persons can be injured by the uncontrolled movement of blades if the blades were not
properly locked.
• Before starting up the blade cassette, check whether all blades are in a straight line and
are therefore correctly installed.
• Also check whether the blade control shaft is properly locked.

• Pull handle (1) out of position (II) and let it engage in position (I).
• Set cutting length (turn blade control shafts (A/B) to “+” position).
After the blade control shafts were set, the blades swivel automatically upward into working
position.
• Check whether all blades are swivelled up. If this is not the case, move the blades which
are not swivelled up by means of tool (e.g. hammer) to working position by slightly tapping
the back of the blade.
• Raise blade cassette (1) mechanically or hydraulically.
