Host Lists
A host list is a prioritized list of SSH, Telnet, and TCP hosts available for establishing incoming
modem connections or for the connect direct command on the CLI. The EMG unit cycles
through the list until it successfully connects to one.
To add a host list:
1. Click the Devices tab and select the Host Lists option. The following page displays:

2. Enter the following:
Note: To clear fields in the lower part of the page, click the Clear Host List button.
3. To add hosts, enter the following:
Host Parameters
Host List Id Displays after a host list is saved.
Host List Name Enter a name for the host list.
Retry Count Enter the number of times the EMG should attempt to retry connecting to the
host list.
Authentication Select to require authentication when the EMG unit connects to a host.
Host Name or IP address of the host.
