Input Source Test

From the Diagnostics menu, select PRINT TESTS.
2 Select an input source to test:
• Tray 1 (standard tray)
• Tray 2
• Tray 3
• Tray 4
• Tray 5
• Multipurpose feeder
• Envelope feeder
Note: Trays 2–5 and the feeders are optional and are only available if installed.
3 Select one of the following:
• Single—A single sheet is printed.
• Continuous—Printing continues until the Stop button is pressed to cancel the test.
Note: If the input source contains envelopes, then an envelope test pattern is printed. Even if Continuous
is selected, the test pattern is only printed on the first envelope.
4 Depending on your printer model, press the Back button or touch Back to return to PRINT TESTS.
Note: Print Test Page always prints on one side of the paper even if duplex printing is enabled.
Print Quality Pages
This allows printing of the print quality pages with the toner cartridge lockout‑function disabled. The Print Quality
Test pages are printed in English and must always be printed on letter, legal, or A4 paper.

2 Depending on your printer model, select Prt Quality Pgs or Printing Quality Test Pages.
For models T650, T652, and T654
The print quality pages consist of four pages. The DIAGNOSTICS version of the first print quality test page
contains a mixture of graphics and text, which includes the following:
• Device information
• Printer revision levels
• Cartridge information
• Printer margin settings
• EP setup
• Printer setup
• Minimum stroke width
For model T656
The print quality pages for this model includes the following information:
• Values from EP SETUP
• Contents of the EVENT LOG
