4 Manually actuate each sensor to make it toggle between Open and Closed. The tray empty sensor can be
actuated by hand. Use a sheet of paper to cover the pass through sensor.
Note: If the sensor does not toggle, then it is malfunctioning.
5 Press the Stop button to exit the test.
OUTPUT BIN TESTS
Feed Tests
This test
verifies
that media can be fed to a
specific
output bin. No information is printed on the media.
Note: Make sure that
Configure
Bins is not set to Link.
1 From the Diagnostics menu, select OUTPUT BIN TESTS > Feed Tests.
2 Select an output bin to test.
Note: Only the installed bins are listed in the menu.
3 Select one of the following:
Single—This feeds a single page.
Continuous—This continuously feeds pages until the Stop button is pressed.
4 Depending on your printer model, touch Back or press the Back button to return to OUTPUT BIN TESTS.
Feed To All Bins
Note: This is applicable only to models T650, T652, and T654.
This test verifies whether media can be fed to all standard and optional bins. No information is printed on the
media. The media feeds from the default paper source.
1 From the Diagnostics menu, navigate to OUTPUT BIN TESTS > Feed To All Bins.
The printer feeds media to the standard bin before it feeds a separate piece of media to each output bin
installed in the following order:
Order of sheets that are fed Output bin
1 Standard bin
2Bin 1
3Bin 2
4Bin 3
5Bin 4
6Bin 5
7Bin 6
8Bin 7
9Bin 8
10 Bin 9
