particular data file, open that file before creating the memo. To place a memo in the
file with a specific reading, enter the memo before saving the reading. To place a
memo in the file after saving an ID, enter the memo after that ID is saved.
To add a memo
1. On the Settings menu, select the Memo icon and open the Memo setup page. (see
Figure 9-4 on page 108).
2. Press the Tab key to select Edit.
3. Enter characters (up to 32) using the virtual keypad, adjustment knob, and the
Enter key.
4. Press the Tab key to select the Update button, and then press the Enter key.
5. Use the adjustment knob to select the Save button, and then press the Enter key.

To add a memo using the dictionary
1. Press the Tab key to select the Dictionary button.
