All measurements above this value are colored green.
All measurements between the Low Range Thickness value and the High Range
Thickness value are colored yellow.
To configure the grid size and color
1. In the grid dialog box, press the Tab key to highlight the Grid Size box.
2. Turn the adjustment knob to select Half Size or Full Size.
3. Press the Tab key to highlight the Display Color box.
4. Turn the adjustment knob to select Mono or Color.
If you select Color, the Low Range Thickness and High Range Thickness boxes
appear. Then complete the following steps:
a) Press the Tab key to select Low Range Thickness.
b) Turn the adjustment knob to change the low range thickness value.
c) Press the Tab key to select High Range Thickness.
d) Turn the adjustment knob to change the high range thickness value.
9.5.3 Using the Grid
Before using the grid, you must first activate it (see “Activating the Grid View” on
page 130). If you set Grid Enable to On, and then press the ESC key to dismiss the
grid dialog box, the grid view appears on the screen, including the grid and the Grid
controls. If you press the ESC key while in grid view, the sidebar menu replaces the
Grid controls.
The grid controls include the arrow buttons and Save button.
To save data in the grid on the live A-scan display
1. To immediately begin populating the grid with data, make a measurement, turn
the adjustment knob to highlight Save, and press the Enter key.
The file ID is incremented, the data is saved to that location, and a new row in the
grid is created and displayed to show the newly saved data.
