To quickly adjust basic gate parameters
1. Open the sidebar menu, and then open the Gate1 or Gate2 submenu (see
“Sidebar Menu” on page 24 for details on using menus and submenus).
2. Select a gate parameter.
3. Turn the adjustment knob to change the parameter.
You can also use the Auto XX% button to set the level of the pulse to 80 % (see “Using
the Auto XX% Feature” on page 60 for details), or the Zoom button to zoom in on the
gate (see “Zooming in on a Gate” on page 81 for details).
7.4 Gate Measurement Modes
The EPOCH 6LT ultrasonic flaw detector’s two gates provide measurements of a
gated indication based on one of four possible measurements modes. You can select
the measurement mode of a gate in the Gate1 or Gate2 dialog box (see Figure 7-4 on
page 75).
