2. Press the Enter key, and then turn the adjustment knob to adjust the G1Start until
the gate is over the reference indication.
3. Press the Tab key to highlight the Auto 80% button.
4. Press the Enter key to bring the reference reflector to 80 % FSH.
5. Press the Tab key to select Ref, and then press Enter to capture the reference
reflector and build the DGS/AVG curve.

After capturing the reference reflector, the EPOCH 6LT automatically calculates the
DGS/AVG curve(s) and displays them at the correct registration level amplitude on
the screen (see Figure 11-21 on page 177).
