13.12 Connection with Slave Encoder Input Device
13.12.1 Operation of Encoder Input Device
• The encoder input device operates as a ring counter.
• The count range of a usable encoder input device is unsigned 32 bits (0 to 4,294,967,295 [H
FFFF FFFF]).

Operation when reaching the
upper limit or lower limit
If the count value exceeds "4,294,967,295", the count value will be "0"
automatically and the count operation will continue. If the count value falls
below "0", the count value will return to "4,294,967,295" automatically and the
count operation will continue.
