The UL certification is documented by a "UL" logo on the
device (type specification plate).

Conditions of utilization
ļµ The devices are only to be installed in a degree of contamination 2 environment
(maximum).
ļµ The devices must be appropriately protected (e.g. by a switching cabinet).
ļµ Tightening Torque of the Field Wiring Terminals.
Terminal clamps - max. line cross sections
The line cross sections must correspond to the locally valid safety regulations. The
local regulations have always priority.

The standard connection clamps of Compax3H090V4 and Compax3H1xxV4
are not suitable for flat line bars.
Temperature rating of field installed conductors shall be at least 75Ā°C. Do
only use copper lines.
ļµ Maximum Surrounding Air Temperature: 45Ā°C.
ļµ Short Circuit Rating - Suitable for use on a circuit capable of delivering not more
than 10000 RMS symmetrical amperes and 480 volts maximum.
CAUTION Danger of electric shock.
Upon removing power to the equipment, wait minimum 10 minutes before
accessing the drive to ensure internal voltage levels are less than 50VDC.
ļµ The drive provides internal motor overload protection.
This must be set so that 200% of the motor nominal current are not exceeded.
ļµ Cable cross-sections
ļµ Mains input: corresponding to the recommended fuses.
ļµ Motor cable: corresponding to the Nominal output currents (see on page 213,
see on page 214)
ļµ This device is provided with Solid State Short Circuit (output) Protection.
