Instrument functionality when SAE is enabled or disabled

Enable SAE
• Local instrument
administrator to access the
SAE screen

• Sign in is limited to users with SAE
accounts. Local instrument profiles cannot
be used to run the instrument.
• Auditing and E-signature functions are
active (if they are enabled in the SAE Admin
Console).
• Plate setup and run functions for a user are
determined by the SAE account settings.
• Connect cloud-based platform and remote
monitoring functions are disabled.

Connect the instrument to an SAE server (administrator only)
Before you connect, install the SAE Administrator Console on a computer with a static
IP address.

Use the default port number, or a port number you obtain from your network
administrator.
