1.Ifthehydraulicttingswereremovedfromthecylinder,lubricatenewO-rings
withcleanhydraulicuid,positiontheO-ringstothettings,andinstallthe
ttingsinthemarkedorientation;refertoInstallingtheHydraulicFittings
(SAEStraightThreadO-RingFittings)(page5–9).
2.Removethecapsandplugsthenconnectthehydraulictubestothecylinder
ttings;refertoInstallingHydraulicHosesandTubes(O-RingFaceSeal
Fitting)(page5–7).
3.Installthepivotpinsecuringtherodendofthecylindertotheliftarm.
4.Installthenylonwashers,pivotbolt,andnutsecuringthebarrelendofthe
cylindertotheframe.
5.Lubricatethecylinderpivotgreasettings.
6.Operatetheliftcylinder.Checkforhydraulicleaksandcorrectifnecessary.
7.Installthestepifpreviouslyremoved.
8.Installthefrontwheel;refertoRemovingandInstallingtheWheels(page
7–5).
9.Checkthehydraulicuidlevelandadjustifnecessarybeforereturningthe
machinetoservice.
