brakecablethroughthemachine.
Note:Thelonger(rightside)cableshouldpassoverthetopofoneofthe
wheelmotorhydraulictubesmidwaybetweenthewheelmotors.
9.Fitthelowerendofthecablehousingintothebracketnearthewheelmotor
andtightenthecablenut.
10.Connectthebrakecabletothebrakeactuatorleverwiththepreviously
removedfastenersandinstallthebrakereturnspring.
11.Positionthejamnutsattheupperendofthecablehousingasshown;refer
toFigure114.

12.Ensurethatthebrakeleveriscompletelydisengaged(down)andtthecable
endintotheequalizerbracketthecablehousingintothebracketbelowthe
brakelever.Thecablesshouldpushthebottomjamnutupwardagainst
thebracket.
13.Pulldownonbothcablehousingsafewtimestoremoveanyslackinthe
assembly.Thebottomjamnutshouldmoveawayfromthebracketwhen
thehousingispulled.
14.Pullthecablehousingdownrmlybyhandandadjustthebottomjamnut
untilitcontactsthebracket.Performthissteponbothcablesindividually.
Note:Applying18to29kg(40to65lbs)forcetotheparkingbrakelever
shouldraisetheparkingbrakelevertothelastlockingposition(justshortof
fullyextended).
