1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthecuttingdeck,shutoffthe
engine,andremovethekeyfromthekeyswitch.Ensurethattheparking
brakeisnotengaged.
2.Disengagetheparkingbrakeandremovethebrakereturnspring,cotterpin,
clevispinandwasherthatattachthebrakecabletothebrakeactuatorlever.
3.Loosentheangenutsthatsecurethebrakecabletothebrakecablebracket
nearthewheelmotorandremovethecablefromthebracket.
4.Loosentheangenutsthatsecurethebrakecabletothebracketbelowthe
brakeleverandremovethecablefromthebracket.
5.Removethebrakecableendsfromtheequalizerbracket.
6.Recordthelocationofcabletiesandroutingofthebrakecableforassembly
purposes.Removethebrakecablefromthemachine.
7.Disassembleanyadditionalbrakelinkagecomponentsasnecessary.Repair
orreplacethecomponentsthatarewornordamaged.
