Purpose
Location
1. Disconnect the switch from the wiring harness.
2. Verify that continuity exists between the terminals
listed for the START and RUN switch positions.
Verify that there is NO continuity between the term-
inals in the OFF switch position (Fig. 0801).
Position Condition
OFF No continuity
START B + I + S
RUN B + I + A and X + Y
The hour meter displays the number of hours of opera-
tion that have been logged on the traction unit.

The hour meter is mounted in the control panel to the left
of the ignition switch (Fig. 0802).
