ASSEMBLING THE CENTERSTAND
1. Clean:
• Centerstand
• Centerstand bracket
• Centerstand bolt
• Centerstand nut
NOTICE
ECA27050
Before installing the centerstand, remove all
the grease from the all parts.
2. Install:
• Centerstand “1”
• Centerstand bracket “2”
• Centerstand bolt “3”
• Centerstand nut “4”
TIP
Temporarily attach the centerstand to the cen-
terstand bracket.
3. Lubricate:
• Centerstand bolt “3”
NOTICE
ECA27060
Do not apply grease to the surfaces of the
seat or the threads of the centerstand bolt.
TIP
Apply grease to the shaft of the centerstand bolt.
4. Tighten:
• Centerstand nut
5. Lubricate:
• Centerstand “1”
• Centerstand bracket “2”
TIP
• Apply grease to the sliding surfaces of the cen-
terstand and centerstand bracket.
• After applying grease while the centerstand is
extended, apply grease while the centerstand
is retracted.
• Apply the grease so it is pressed in between
the centerstand and the centerstand bracket.
• Operate the centerstand several times so the
grease is worked in evenly.
Recommended lubricant
Lithium–soap–based grease
