9. Check the entire seat heater sys-
tem wiring.

Properly connect or replace the wiring har-
ness.

Replace the meter assembly and/or
ECU and/or remote control unit.
The seat heater is abnormally hot while the engine is idling.
1. Check that the temperature level of
the low seat heater setting is set to
lowest temperature.

Adjust the temperature levels of the seat
heater settings.

2. Check the seat heater relay
(power).
Refer to “CHECKING THE RE-
LAYS” on page 8-94.
NG Replace the seat heater relay (power).

3. Check the seat heater.
