◆ Intended Use
Drives are intended for installation in electrical systems or equipment.
The drives are designed and manufactured in accordance with applicable UL and
cUL standards (file number E131457), and CE directives.
For use in the European Union, the installation in systems and equipment must
conform to the following product standards of the Low Voltage Directive:
V1000 series drives comply with the provisions of the Low Voltage Directive
73/23/EEC as amended by 93/68/EEC. These drives conform to the following
standard: EN 50178: 1997-10.
Contact a Yaskawa representative when using a leakage current circuit breaker in
conjunction with AC drives.
In certain systems, it may be necessary to use additional monitoring and safety
devices in compliance with the relevant safety and accident prevention regulations.
Do not modify the AC drive hardware.
