Communication Specifications
The MEMOBUS/Modbus communication specifications are explained in
Table C. 1 .
Table C.1 MEMOBUS/Modbus Communication Specifications
Communication Connection Terminal
MEMOBUS/Modbus communication uses the following terminals: S+, S-, R+, and
R-. The terminating resistor must be turned ON only if the Drive is at the very end
of the serial communication chain. Set the terminating resistor by turning ON pin 1
of switch S2.
