Init freq err: The initial frequency value (known as 

) is the frequency error of the
EDR packet measured across the header part of the packet. The error
value displays as the difference between the ideal frequency for the
measured channel and the measured frequency over the header part of
the packet. If more than one packet is measured, the value displayed is
the greatest frequency error measured of all packets tested.
Freq err: The Frequency Error value (known as 
o
) is the frequency difference
between the Initial Frequency Error, and the average frequency of a 50
s block of payload data. The MT8852B divides the payload data into
50 s blocks and packets are looped back until 200 blocks have been
measured. The value displayed is the greatest difference measured
between any single 50 s payload block and the Initial Frequency error
for the same packet.
Block freq err: The block frequency Error (
i
+ 
o
) is the difference in frequency
between any single 50 s payload block, and the header for the same
packet. The MT8852B displays the greatest block frequency error for
all the 200 blocks measured. As the block frequency error requires that
each block is measured relative to the header from the same packet, it
is possible that, when more than one packet is required to achieve the
200 measurement blocks, that the result for (
i
+ 

) will not equal the
sum of the displayed values of 

.
