10.4 Removal of an input module
WARNING: The procedures below may only be performed by Barco trained and qualied technicians.
CAUTION: Always wear a wrist band which is connected to the ground while handling the electrostatic dis-
charge (ESD) sensitive parts.
Necessary tools
PH1 Phillips s crewdr iver
The procedure below is applicable to all the input modules of the Input & Communication Unit of the projector.
How to remove an input module?
1. S witch off the projector and unplug the power cord at the projector back side.
2. R elease the c aptive sc rews of the input module.

3. P ull the input module o ut of the Input & C omm unication Unit using the handles.

CAUTION: Ensure that all unused input slots of the Input & Communication Unit are always covered with a
dummy front plate. After removing
one of the input modules, immediately replace with an other one or install
a dummy front plate on the unused input slot.
