15.1 Draining the liquid cooling circuit
Necessary tools
• Half a m eter of plastic tube with male v alved fitting.
• Half a meter of plas tic tube with female valved fitting.
• Syringe connected with short tube with male valve d fitting.
• Empty bottle with a volum e of 1 liter.
•Cloths.
How to drain the liquid cooling circuit ?
1. Interrupt the liquid cooling circuit by uncoupling the valved fitting at t he heat exchanger.
Tip: Sometimes a little c ooling liquid will be spilled. Wrap a sm all cloth around the valved fitting while uncoupling to absorb
the spilled cooling liquid.

2. Insert the plastic tube, which contains a female valved fitting, into an empty bottle and then couple t he female valved fitting w ith
theexitsideofthecoolingcircuit.
Note: Circuit is p ressurized, so first insert tube end into empty bottle.
