12.3 Removal of the start pulse generator
To remove or install the start pulse generator you have to remove the side cover, the back cover, the lamp
cover and the lamp house first.
Necessary tools
• 10 mm nut driver.
• 3 mm Allen key.
• 6 x 120 mm flat sc rew driver.
How to remove the start pulse generator?
1. D isconnect the SPG cables from the “LAMP OUT” pins of the LPS m odule. Use for that a 10 m m nut driver.
Caution: Do not loose the washers which fit between the fixation nuts and the cable eye.
Tip: Place the washers and nuts back upon the output pins.

3. R elease the 3 captive sc rews (1) of the start pulse generator as illustrated. Use for that a flat screw dr iver.
