13.2 Diagnostic
Troubleshooting of the Light Processor
There are several reasons why removal or replacing of the Light Processor is required. Nevertheless, try to avoid unnecessary re-
moval of the L ight P rocessor. The list below gives an overv iew of the m ost com mon problems which require removal or replacement
of the Light Processor. Check this list to ensure the problem is caused by the Light Proc essor.
• Artifacts in the projected image. Thes e artifacts are also visible on the internal serv ice patterns of the S atellite boar ds.
• A c rack in the prism, whic h can resu lt in convergence prob lems and m ay disables you to focus the projected im age.
• Unacceptable amount of dar k, bright or flat state pixels on one or more DMDs.
• Blocked Shutter (dowser). Shutter does not respond when pressing the “PA USE ” button.
• Leakage in liquid cooling circuit.
