14.6 Lens safety cable
When using the safety cable ?
The lens safety c able must be used in any circumstances to protect a mounted lens in the lens holder.
How to mount the cable
1. P ut the safety cable around the lens. Make sure the cable is m ounted between the motor part and the mounting flange

2. Insert both cable sides into the clamp;
Strap the cable and make sure that the clam p is positioned on 45° from the bottom to avoid interference of the c able with the
lens lock ing mechanism.
Secure the cab le by fixating the nut of the clam p.
