17.4 Replacing the motor control board (MCB)
WARNING: Disconnect the power cord from the projector and wait a few minutes (to discharge the capacitors)
prior to start with this procedure.
Where to find the board?
The motor control bo ard is situated behind the Input & Com m unication unit.
Necessary tools
T10 Torx screwdriver
How to remove
1. R emov e the front cover and the Input & Comm unication cover.
2. R emov e the Input & Communication un it.
3. R emov e the front air filter.
4. To get access to the board, the Light processor fan co ver must be removed.
First, turn out both screws 1 inside the Input & Comm unication compartment.

5. B ehind the front filter compartment, turn out screw 2,3,4 and 5.
Remove screw 6 which fixates the ground wire.
Turn out the dis tance spacer (7).
