10.14 Replacing the Local Keypad
This procedure assumes that the Input & Communication unit is already removed from the projector.
How to replace the Local Keypad?
1. R emov e the complete PMP board assembly from the Input & Comm unication unit. See first steps of the service procedure
"Replacing the PMP board", page 156.
2. R emov e the LCD Display Interface. See service procedure "Replacing the LCD Display Interface", page 161.
3. P eel off the Local Keypad from the front side of the Input & Comm unication unit.
4. S tick a new Local K eypad upon the front side. Make sure to position the new Local Keypad correctly. Make sure to guide the
flex cable of the Local Keypad through the opening (reference 1 image 10-35) in the frame.
