The following fields can be set:
Parameter Description
Ports / VLAN ID
Use the drop-down menu to choose Ports or VLAN ID.
Max Group (1-1024) Enter the maximum number of the multicast groups. The range is from 1 to 1024. Tick infinite
for unlimited groups.
Action
Use the drop-down menu to handle the newly learned group when the register is full.
drop – The newly learned group will be dropped.
replace – The newly learned group will replace the eldest group in the register table.
To add a new IPv 4 Max Multicast Group, enter the information and click Apply, to search for an entry click Find.
Multicast Filtering Mode
The Multicast F iltering M ode enables the user to configure the VLANs on the switch that will be involved in the
Multicast Filtering Mode. To configure these settings, click L2 F eatures > I GMP S nooping > Multicast F iltering

The following fields can be set:

VLAN Name / VID
List
Use the radio button to select VLAN Name or VID List, and enter the information in the field
below.
Multicast Filter
Mode
Use the drop-down menu to select the method of filtering multicast packets.
Forward All Groups - All multicast groups will be forwarded based on VLAN.
Forward Unregistered Groups - The registered group will be forwarded based on the register
table.The unregister group will be forwarded based on VLAN.
Filter Unregistered Groups - The registered group will be forwarded based on the register
table.The unregister group will be filtered.
VID List This field is for searching the entries. Enter a VID list and click Search.
