Authentication RADIUS Server
The RADIUS feature of the Switch allows you to facilitate centralized user administration as well as providing
protection against a sniffing, active hacker.
To configure the 802.1X User, click Security > 802.1X > Authentication RADIUS Server

This window displays the following information:
Parameter Description
Index Choose the desired RADIUS server to configure: 1, 2 or 3.
IP Address
Set the RADIUS Server IP.
Authentic Port
(1-65535)
Set the RADIUS authentic server(s) UDP port. The default port is 1812.
Accounting Port
(1-65535)
Set the RADIUS account server(s) UDP port. The default port is 1813.
Timeout (1-255) Enter the timeout value in seconds (1 to 255) the default value is 5.
Retransmit (1-255) Set the retransmit value in seconds (1 to 255) the default value is 2.
Key
(Max. length 32 bytes)
Set the key the same as that of the RADIUS server. Maximum length of the entry is 32
bytes.
Confirm Key
Confirm the shared key is the same as that of the RADIUS server.
The bottom of the window displays the settings of the RADIUS servers that are currently setup on the system.
