INSTALL COUNTERSHAFT AXLE
1. Tilt gearbox housing 180˚.
2. Align countershaft gear centrically.
3. Install adjusting screw (Figure 342).
4. Supercool pin.
5. Make determined shim (see also page
123) adhere with grease.
6. Insert pin until contact is obtained.
7. Remove adjusting screw and secure bolt
using hex. head screw.
NOTE: Torque limit (M10/8.8) 46 Nm
(34 ft lb).
NOTE: Wet thread of hex. head screw
with Loctite #243.
CAUTION!
Use protective gloves.
