FINAL DRIVE REASSEMBLY
HUB CARRIER
1. Fasten hub carrier on the axle housing
using hex. head screws.
NOTE:
See “Torque Limits for Screws”
on page 6.
NOTE:

2. Pull the wheel studs into the hub bores,
using a special device.
NOTE:
See “Special Tools” on page 15.
3. Drive both outer bearing races firmly
against shoulder.
NOTE:
See “Special Tools” on page 15.
CAUTION!
Pay attention to the installation
position.
Cover flange-mounted surface with
sealing compound.
