2.3 Connecting the Power Cord
Be sure to read the “Before Turning Power On” (p. 13), and “Handling the cords, xtures, and
probes” (p. 14) before connecting the power cord.
Connect the power cord to the power inlet on the instrument, and plug it into an outlet.

Check that the instrument’s power is turned off.

Connect a power cord that matches the line voltage to the power inlet on the
instrument. (100 V AC to 240 V AC)

Plug the other end of the power cord into an outlet.
Turn off the power before disconnecting the power cord.
