5.5 Operator Functions
Actions an operator can initiate
An operator can do the following:
Change the Control Mode (Auto/Man)
Adjust the Output Manually
Change the Setpoint
Switch between Setpoints
Run or Disable a Setpoint Ramp
Run or Disable a Setpoint Program
Switch between Two Sets of PID Values
Run or Disable Control Loop Tuning
Check the Alarm Setpoints
Display and Reset the Totalizer
Close a Remote Switch
Monitor External Event Pen Operation
Run a Key Test
Note that some actions depend upon how the recorder was configured and the features supplied on your
particular recorder model.
Refer to the following pages for functions and procedures.
CHN indicator
Remember, for recorders with two controllers (both enabled), any controller-related values displayed,
including control mode, correspond with the lighted CHN indicator “1” means that the values apply for
Controller #1 and “2” means that the values apply for Controller #2. Sequentially press the LOWR DISP
key to scroll through the displays and light the appropriate CHN indicator for controller-related values.
