11. Backup print mode
The purpose of this Service Utility is to set the Backup Print Mode of the
Printer.
The Backup Print mode is a mode that increases the number of passes to
ensure a consistent level of image quality when there is a significant number
of nozzels out in the printheads.
Change the backup print mode as follows:
1 In the Service Utilities submenu, scroll to "Backup Print Mode" and press
Enter.
2 The Printer will display the current status of the Backup Print Mode. Use the
Up and Down keys to change the status and press the Enter key to select.
You can press the Cancel key at any time to exit the utility without making
any changes.
3 The Front Panel will display the Enabled/Disabled status of the Backup Print
Mode.
