Configuring SNMP

To Create SNMP Trap Targets:
1. Select the Configuration tab.
2. Click the [
SNMP Trap] button.
3. Click the
[New] button under under SNMP Targets.
4. In the SNMP Target Address window, type a name for the Target ID.
5. Specify the IP address of the receiving management station and the UDP
port used.
6. Type the SNMP v3 user name of the trap receiver. (User names must first
be created using the web interface or CLI.)
7. (Optional) Assign a trap filter by selecting the filter name from the drop-
down list. If a filter is not assigned to the Target ID, all traps are sent. (Trap
filter must first be created for the name to appear in the drop-down list.)
