9.2 Power and Fan Subsystems
9.2.1 Power Subsystem
The power bay provides space for two power supply modules and the power distribution board
(PDB). The dimensions of the power supply are 7.75-inches (W) x 14.5-inches (D) x 1.47-inches
(H).
The PDB distributes the power in two ways. There is a connector on the back edge of the board
that mates to the power supplies. In addition, there are cables that route power up to the main
board and to the SAS backplane. The AC power is filtered with a combination 15A power plug
integrated with a filter.
