14.2 Connecting MISxx/SMC75 to SMD73
The MISxx/SMC75 can control an external driver with pulse and direction signals for pre-
cise positioning and speed control.
The 8 outputs can be used to generate pulse/direction for up to 4 drivers. This can be
used for accurate synchronization of two or more motors, based on the same source sig
-
nal. Use MacTalk “I/O Setup” to set up the outputs to pulse/direction signals.
